,map, key on lmd_iobject

As I saw, you disabled the lmd_iobject using because of the shared targets on the maps. But why not make a ,map, key that won't allow spawn the entity unless you specify at least one map, and have ,map, ~ ,map6, keys for the entire system.
Or even better, don't allow to use the iobject unless it has ,map, key inside it, so we can only use the items on allowed maps.

I've been trying to get Phred to re-enable it for a while now...

Honestly, shared targetnames aren't a problem. It's as simple as giving the iobject a truly unique target. My quick-and-easy solution: use prefixes based on map. (Ex: t2_trip_emergencytele, shared_clantele, t1_rail_remotedetonator, etc.)

But no, Phred wouldn't listen...

I f***ing knew it when I tried placing a system that I was working for some days in my vacations. Those were hours of work just to understand that it's going to fail and Robo won't show up with a solution.

He should give the source to someone of trust, and let him continue his work. Because lugormod formed a big part of my life, I've played lugor for more than 6 years for almost every single day more than 10 hours a day. And I don't want this mod to die because of he lack of updates D:

I know a guy that played

I know a guy that played lugormod for some time, but passed to Stalax and OJP because he couldn't get the source code from Lugor. His name is Grievous and he's from Chile. He worked for many years programing on jamp source.

He managed to create a basic physics in jk3, and was one of the developers of OJP (and JKE too, but he left because the project is no longer open source).

He also worked on XReal (quake 3 enhanced engine if I'm not mistaken) engine to create a Star Wars mod, but he was stuck trying to use a good saber hit detection, because he couldn't use ghoul2.

If Robo want to, I could talk to him and see if he's going to continue the mod.

i believe phred was a fan of OJP so i think that could work out, but who knows phred might find time to work on the mod since people are actually interested again

It's not like people are interested again, it's just Robo noticing that people are still interested. I always played lugormod, and that's for years. I used (and still do) to play at least 8 hours a day on my server, as different professions and always fighting for stash and using desann.

The difference is that Robo created more content for admins, and that was entertaining only for some people, because currently I have many players that only fight for stashes and do some automatic quests every 30 minutes, without having complex quests and stuff and it's still entertaining. Because the mod first was designed to "I'm trying to make the server a more interesting place to be in." and not a who's better builder. The original mod had a folder with some maps edited with vehicles, random spots and money depos, and remember that T2 LUGORMOD THE DEAD TREE server, it was a great server where everybody fighted and didn't used to chat or duel all the time. Also the battleground worked well, Reborn worked, there was desann and tavion that helped force users to kill mercs, which I had to activate editing desann and tavion sabers to use, and the players playing on my servers don't complain at all.

Now I see many servers that are based on doing quests, that are fun and entertaining, but the stash is something that should be enhanced too, because it brings the whole server to a global goal and they all fight for it to increase level. The stash system was designed to bring more people to the server so the quantity in the stash is increased, and if you are connected for long periods of time the level costs gets lower.

There should be more things like that to keep the community together.

i been trying to improve banks & stash into BOSS, including some activities inside the clan, but is hard specially when most are cheap douchebags who want to camp in 1 place for 5 hours and feel cool bc getting easy credits.

People on my server

People on my server complained for some time about not having quests, but those who liked stashes killed them with easy, and after that they understood that they had to stash to level up and kill them.

This still doesn't mean that I don't have any other ways of gaining credits, because only stashing would be boring at some time, so I made automatic "quests" that are repeatable every x time and every played on the server plays them, this way they know a way of gaining creditos if they're not strong enough to stash.

We shouldn't fight in times like this. Lugormod need as much help as possible, and rivalry between servers ain't gonna help very much. We should share ideas and keep the servers entertaining.

This has been ready to implement for a long time; I intended to make another entity that will act as a proxy, such as "lmd_target" (which would also let you make your own commands under /interact).

This has been on indefinite hold, as lately I have been trying to focus on gameplay as opposed to admin toys and quest extention, and we all know how that ended up...
