Attributes and flame blast

I've mentioned this before, but writing it here seems more formal
Players should have the ability to select Attributes, or neutral skills, which most attribute skills are avalible to all classes. Attributes could be
Strength: How much damage you inflict
Dexterity/Omnicence: Dodgeing/Less damage
Wisdom(Jedi/Sith): Effectiveness of forcepowers, and the effect they have on you.
Constitution(Merc): Health Bounus (Not specifically ammount of health)
Intelligence: Effectiveness and duration of certain skills (I.E Ysalamiri, Mind trick, Rage)
Charisma(???): Ammount of credits recived on certain quests.
Attribute points can be earned Once evey Four levels. Each attribute at a default ammount.

Also, certain powers can have temporary effects on attributes. Like Mind trick can Lower Wisdom, but with a high enough wisdom, Mind trick can be countered. Or Team Energize can increase Strenth (DDon't know why specifically strength, maybe because it's a dark side power and sith LOVE strength)
Also, I've heard ALOT off people say how flame blast should be like Boba Fett's Flame thrower in SP, With some Slight knockback and longer flame blast duration (Could be tied into attribute intelligence) I thought this would be nice, and is a request by some people.

I still think its too complicated for the average user. Generic skills such as charisma might be addable by the server for use with custom skills later on.
The reason flame blast is short is that I cannot make a consistent flame effect, as that would involve spamming entity events, which could easily go up to 10 a second per merc. In addition to this, even single-frame entities take a significant amount of time to properly free, else the client may get confused. The only real solution would be to find a longer effect client side.
Strength: Bad idea. Too complicated; would change gameplay too greatly.
Dexterity: I actually kind of like this idea. I think it would be best as a merc-only thing.
Wisdom: Not too bad an idea, but this isn't an RPG. I don't think it would work well in a real-time combat environment.
Constitution: Mercs get plenty of health/health items. Not needed.
Charisma: Make your own customskill of it if you want it.
Most of this stuff, as Phred said, is too complex and even if one wanted to implement it it would be too great an undertaking anyway.
To be honest, if you wanna play KotOR, go play KotOR. They're coming out with an MMO for it soon anyway.

Personally though instead of adding the attribute points to the levels maybe add more levels to the system?
either way, sounds like it could be a cool thing to add in the future

Decided not to add this. Will keep Lugormod in its current combat arcade style rather than dropping into the large-scale rpg realm.
As for flame burst, it is being redesigned to be much more useful, although not like the boba npc.
