well, i don't think clans are important as entities, guides, help, known bugs, etc.
i don't think it should be meant as an advertising tool...
We should ask the mod of mysticforces.net/lugor to use his entitylist and add it to the wiki. This way we can improve it without having to report to him and wait until he fixes it.

I'll help out with this. I've always wanted to learn how to work on a wiki.
uhm here i have a txt file , where i myself been updating within the time, uhm may not be the best but it could help at least.
i think there should be a separate page for each entity, because it's a bitch to ctrl+f in that mass of text
i know, and wikia isn't the kind of wiki i like, too much ads and shit, i could host a wiki into jk4files host tho.
It is possible to make wikia look like wikipedia? In a simple and organized way. I don't like very much how wikia looks, I can't orientate very well on it.
i think same, i use wikimedia for my wikis tho, most are archives for me anyway, but well u can take a look of how it looks
note: this is a project for boss clan, dont bother to ask me to edit it, but well if majority rathers wikimedia for a wiki, i can host one like that for lmd feedback purposes.
in the other hand, i have no limitations and can set the wiki up in just a few seconds :d.
so other than w/e siebe feels like doing, im starting this at my will bc im not someone who likes to wait.

aswell you're free to edit & create an account, not neccesary tho, anonymous users are allowed to edit so far, in case it gets abuser only registered users will be able to ...
anyhow doubt that would be a problem.
and mainly i dislike a whole clan getting involved into the wiki siebe created, such as giving his members auths to there. the one i made may be having boss's site url but well overall, the wiki is not exclusive and not a only few get powers thing. just check it, edit it, and feel free to add new stuff. it's open to everyone, some of the entities descriptions are updated by me, doesnt matter how or where you use the ones i 'updated' , or the guides i post there, but you know, would be nice if you remember to put up a link back to the wiki :-)

To be honest, I liked the wikea one, simply because it means it isn't being hosted by a clan. (No offense or accusation, but this sort of thing can lead to problems)
i know, i dont like it that way either but wikia is a pain to navigate with, so far with the one i created im not involving anyone of boss as a moderator or anything else into it, all are free to edit / view , create an account. and use w/e information there for your own non lucrative purposes.
either way no matter if 'you' all use 'mine' (bc it's really for all not exclusive) or not, it will keep open as it have a good use for my team of builders, such as feedback & tips sharing. i just invite u all to check it, and use it , doesnt rly matter if it's 'really' used. bc at least it will have a purpose, for me at least. lol
anyhow i just ask for 1 thing, do not advertise clans in the wiki please ;-).

I like the wiki iMp hosted. I'll be using it, and I don't care about BOSS clan members being or not being moderators. We are here for a better cause and not for clan fights/censorship

You said you were keeping yours for your "team of builders" implying you meant the Natures of BOSS, as you are their leader making them your team, so you would not want to hand over the files to phred and then edit 2 times. Where as I have no problem handing my files over to phred and letting the wiki be hosted here.
yes, but what i mean is feedback overall, a wiki with overall shared info is rather better knowledge for my team of builders, but not only mines. it can help nox, MF or individual builders to learn from what all lmd community users submit and share with all of us.
i have no problem with sending robo the MySQL database , neither the whole wiki files.
my reasons to keep the wiki are not only to keep my team of builders updated on lmd entities knowledge & other info, but also to let all share within each other tips , knowledge of entities , such as keys or more.
but i stated that i do want my team of builders to use it, and just stated is one of the reasons i'm keeping it on oO.

IMO the wiki iMp made is more intuitive, and I already started updating some things on it. So I will use the one iMp made. But that's only my opinion.
ps: I suggest not using the rectangle for descriptions on the iMps wiki, because the text gets out of the line and it breaks the page. Just type "Word" instead of " Word" in the section of the description
if that happens just use a fast nonborder table inside the box, example:

But why using additional code instead of just removing a space before the word? I see it more reasonable this way
is just and advise, you're not forced to use that format for the entities information tho, i just added them that way xd
We actually should define a way of formatting the information in the wiki, so the information is easily interpreted by the people.
We should discuss if it's worth using the table formatting inside a box or making the description as a simple text, because currently we have half of the entities with the description in a box and half with the description as text.
I vote for the simple text because of the reason I stated before and because I don't know if it uses a different font or something, but it easier to read. And some entities may have very much information, so we don't have to use a table to format all the text.
I want to see your opinion about this and see if I should edit what I already did to the boxes with tables.
Now I understood what you meant with the tables. Now I'm using them on spawnflags, keys and that kind of stuff. But at first I was talking about the general Description of the entity. The first line that comes in sight after opening the entity.

Because a wiki es like a forum, but it informs people about the things instead of making discussions, and everybody can add information easily.

What do you think about a page for each clan maybe? the clan can make it and edit it in?
or maybe the page with the list of clans and stuff is enough?
also we should put a downloads and such page, for useful tools etc
and then people can edit in when they find useful things, and be sure to give a good description
