Weapon entities cannot be placed

tried 'place weapon_blaster 0' and it says no entity by that classname.

I forgot that items use their own spawning system, and failed to take it into account when checking if the classname exists. Fixed.

Umm... how exactly can we

Umm... how exactly can we deal with this NOT existing? Not being able to place any weapon spawns seems like a large problem to me, and weapons spawns have been working in the past, and I've never seen anybody spam "/place weapon_concussion_rifle 0", because that would be stupid.

Mercs get guns for free and I've seen people have bigass armories with all weapons, mines, ammo, items, etc. on almost every server I've been to.

If every lugormod server has too many weapons placed by the admins, obviously its a lugormod problem, as that breaks the balance of the mod consistently.

I am still thinking on a way to solve this, I might either disable weapon spawning, or prevent mercs from picking up weapons beyond their level.

So far builders should take care to balance the price of the weapons or placing same amount of weapons & powerups available for jedi/sith in the map

The problem is that they do

The problem is that they do not balance it. Its the same reason why Jedi are used to a higher than normal force regen rate and are fighting against the balancing acts in 3.x. And yes, the weapons that spawn in the map also might be a problem from time to time, but they are generally more balanced than what I have seen on most servers.

Anyway, the solution is to limit picking up weapons in the map by either a skill or level. If its a skill, I need to add a way for usability keys to detect this, so terminals don't take money to spawn a weapon the player cannot pick up.

No more discussion in this report, the original bug is fixed.
