Entities dissapearing... again
After some months, I've changed my entire PC, changed my OS, started from scratch and still got some entities dissapearing on mp/ffa3. That's weird! I started building the same map from zero, recreated everything, and then noticed a slotmachine missing, and after that somebody reported me that a fx_runner no longer appears (it vas an explosion, so even if the effect didn't appear it sould have done damage).
The only thing that remains since the old lugormod is the server.cfg and that both OS are Windows 7 64 bits, and I am using jampDed. If you're back at fixing bugs I'll post my ents file and my server.cfg, so maybe you can discover why that's happening always to me D;

I believe it is related to the number of entities in one area.
Too many overloads it and makes some dissapear.
at least that is what I was told.
its on any map really.
I had the problem on the ffa4 I just built. and on siege_hoth as well
Seems to affect the MP maps more than SP but still happens on the SP maps

That would be the snapshot. The client only renders 255 entities per snapshot. If there are more than 255, some will be ignored, but only by the client.
sometimes upgrading the mod makes this happen, is something related to the spawnstring
like if u added a extra key such as note,eyeherpes and then upgrading the mod, but only happened with slotmachine
that as results of my tests, anyhow you probably misstype /delent < ent number > and delete random entities.

what he meant by the client isn't a single person, but client-side (if I'm correct)
and that is what is ignoring the ents, not the mod. you can still run into them and use them, just not see them when this happens.

I noticed this happening less this days. I don't know why even that was happening again, maybe after all it's not related with my PC, but with some kind of action, like restarting server, changing map or being up for a long period of time....
